Our buffalo country is as diverse as it is vast. Rugged mountains fall into deep valleys and thick riverine cover, opening into rolling grasslands and wide stretches of open Eastern Cape country.
No two days in the field are quite the same. One morning may find you following fresh tracks through dense bush; the next, glassing distant valleys and mountainsides for an old bull.
This variety creates a buffalo hunt that is challenging, unpredictable and completely authentic.

A Cape buffalo hunt begins long before the final approach. Each day starts by searching for fresh tracks, reading the country and looking for signs of mature bulls. Once a promising track is found, the real hunt begins—following on foot through thick cover, valleys, mountains and open country, never knowing what may be waiting ahead.
When buffalo are located, patience becomes critical. We take the time to study the bulls carefully, looking at age, boss development, horn quality and character before deciding whether to continue the pursuit.
From there, it becomes a game of wind, terrain and distance. The objective is never simply to find a buffalo. It is to find the right bull and earn the opportunity to take him.

But the impact extends beyond conservation. Hunting supports permanent employment, provides income for local families and creates a valuable source of meat for surrounding communities.
